This unit of the Chancellor’s Office develops, implements, and manages policies and services that lead to successful preparation, admission, retention, and graduation of students at the seven OUS institutions.
Staff members communicate with Oregon's high school guidance and college counselors and community college transfer advisors through various publications and services. They also work closely with K-16 Alignment (see link to right) and staff from the K-12 and community college sectors on collaborative programs and projects aimed to foster student success throughout the educational pipeline. The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success Initiatives serves as a liaison with several system-wide administrative groups, including registrars, financial aid directors, admissions directors, enrollment managers and senior student affairs officers.
